JBL 650BTNC

I bought the JBL 650BTNC in spring 2020 and i’m generally pleased with them. The JBL 650BTNC were chosen because i wanted bluetooth headphones with active noise canceling which i could still use with cable if need be. The JBL provided all those while still being quite affordable. And while the hardware seems good to me the software actually has quite some problems.

Problem number one that sometimes the headphones wont shut down correctly. If that happens you just have to let the battery run empty and charge them again. After such an hard-reset they work like they should. This problem isn’t very problematic in normal use as no other functionality is affected but it happend more than once so far.

Another Problem i had fortunately only once but which is more sewere is that the headphones were working fine with the cable but only the left pad was working with bluetooth. But both cups were working under bluetooth if you put in the AUX-cable just right. Now to solve this i adjusted the AUX-cable such that both cups were working over bluetooth and simultaniously reseting the headphones by pressing both vol-up and vol-down at the same time. A normal factory reset unfortunately didn’t help.
